Leander Extended Opportunity Center (LEO): What is our purpose, who do we serve and what do we do?

Students from all over LISD are assigned to the Leander DAEP (Discipline Alternative Education Placement), LEO, throughout the year for a variety of reasons. We will present data to show who is assigned and why, including data gathered once students arrive using LEO surveys and inventories. We will share the historical reasons that DAEPs were established in Texas and how we serve the students assigned to LEO.
